Our founder experienced this firsthand while running an IT support company responsible for 50+ client infrastructures, 3,000 end users, and a 20-person engineering team.
With data scattered across tools like SharePoint, Xero, Salesforce, and email, the same questions came up again and again. One day — after being asked for the company VAT number for the third time — a conversation with the lead developer sparked an idea:

Two weeks later came the message:

Once the phrase ‘she lives’ was communicated and the proof of concept and MVP implemented within my own business, a discussion with Greg was is this something we can help other small business owners and businesses in general by converting into a purchasable app for business.
